How are they constructed?

​

1. Base and flooring

Installation of a concrete slab base and insulated chipboard underfloor. We then install your choice of laminate flooring (choice of 3 colours) and skirting board.

2. Structural Insulated Panels

The Garden room wall panels are 100mm thick, super insulated and structural. They keep heat IN during the winter` and OUT in the summer meaning that you can use your room all year round.

The internal walls are plaster boarded and skimmed to a smooth finish – ready for you to self-paint.

3. Doors and Windows

Installation of 1 x quality A-rated window and French doors in anthracite on white (unless specified otherwise in the costing description) - other colours are available on request. Windows are 890mm wide, French Doors are 1500mm wide.

 

4. Ceiling and roof

Timber truss roof structure, 100mm insulation, plaster boarded and skimmed internally, Ultra rubber roof surface to the outside. Fascias and guttering are Anthracite Grey with downspout to a customer supplied water butt or soakaway.​

5. External Cladding

Installation of CanExel composite cladding, 20mm thick and available in 12 textured / woodgrained colours.  

6. Standard Electric Package 

We take a feed from your home and channel it to the building in special armoured underground cable. Your garden room typically includes 8 x internal downlights, 4 external spot lights to the pelmet overhang, 2 x external “updown” lights, 2 x double sockets and 1 x panel heater installed on wall space. Different combinations of the above can also be accommodated. If you would like additional lights or double power sockets, these can be supplied and fitted.
